Care about the needs of your body

Because we are often caught up in the heat of the action, we may tend to forget to properly take care of our body’s most basic needs. Moreover, if the goal is to regain femininity, we must start by giving our body what it naturally needs to function. Unfortunately, we don’t always have control over everything concerning our health, but we can still take action on our own scale! One of the important things to reconnect with our body is to give it the amount of sleep it needs. I often stay up late because I enjoy the atmosphere of the evenings, but nevertheless, I always make sure to sleep enough and have quality sleep so that my body has the energy it needs. Otherwise, I would tend to be physically more irritable, more sensitive to touch, and I would also have more difficulty being in tune with my body. Furthermore, nutrition is our first medicine. Reconnecting with our body also involves being aware of what we give it! We are not all inclined towards healthy eating, but you can listen to your body and adapt what you give it to what it craves.

Wake up your body and sensuality

Morning stretches are among the tricks that always help me start the day off right. As soon as you wake up, stretch. Do it gently, as you get out of bed. These few minutes dedicated to your muscles, tendons, and the sensations of your body are an initial introduction to recenter yourself. Another important thing to do as regularly as possible is physical exercise. For me, it is the ultimate way to reconnect with my body. Whatever sport you choose, it is important to do it! The reasons are numerous: you increase blood flow, you use your muscles during exertion, you focus on what you feel, you get out of your cerebral state to be in the present moment with your body and its actions. Personally, I really enjoy running, which allows me to clear my mind, feel alive and fortunate because many cannot run, and it also allows me to see my progress. Swimming is also a good way to not only get physical exercise but also reconnect with femininity. To go even further, pole dancing is the ideal sport in this endeavor! Just like swimming, the movements can be gentle, sensual, and strong, which, for me, symbolizes femininity well! It’s up to each person to find the sports that awaken their body!

Take the time to pamper yourself

Whenever possible, give yourself at least once a week a little extra care. Each person has their own definition of femininity, but often, it rhymes with gentleness and sensuality. At home, a little self-care, a bath if possible, scented candles, all by yourself, and it’s already a moment for yourself! Exfoliation, beyond its physical effects, is a good way to “start fresh” and feel clean and fragrant! It’s not necessary to always invest in a spa to treat yourself to a moment of pleasure. The goal is to focus on two sensations: touch and smell. If you can, add hearing by playing soft music. Personally, I like to have these moments on Sunday evenings. These moments are a bit timeless and allow me to refocus on myself and my body! Finally, from time to time, massages are also a good way to pamper your body!

Rediscover your pleasures

Because femininity is also about intimacy, sex is obviously a part of it. Whether you are single or in a relationship, there are different ways to reconnect with your femininity. Beyond the pretty lingerie you can buy to please yourself, Ben Wa balls and Yoni eggs, for example, are a way to explore what is happening within you and therefore reclaim your sexuality and femininity. Also, more and more women are taking the initiative to discover what they like on their own, and toys can be a means to achieve that!

You are beautiful, it’s up to you to see it!

I insist on the idea of finding yourself beautiful because everything starts with how you perceive yourself. For me, it is achieved through light makeup, feeling fresh, and perfumes also play an important role in my connection to my femininity! Try to find what brings you closer to yours! For that, indulge in pleasures, a perfume that boosts your self-confidence, a new hairstyle, a makeup session at a store—these are all opportunities to get closer to your femininity, if these ideas appeal to you. Also, choose clothes in which you feel comfortable, that allow you to appreciate the lines and curves of your body. Reconnecting with your femininity also involves how you see yourself! Don’t hesitate to go to a lingerie store to find yourself some pretty new underwear! Take the opportunity to get help in choosing the right bra size: sometimes, a small change can make all the difference in the décolletage! Lastly, why not treat yourself to a photo shoot! Seeing yourself beautiful and radiant in professional photos will undoubtedly help you reconnect with your femininity!
